I've been sick since last week. Ever since I was caught in the sudden downpour last Wednesday after Organic Chem lab. Mind you, I was carrying an umbrella, but my shoes and the bottom of my jeans were completely soaked so imagine how cold I was when I was watching the performance at UCC. No wonder I came down with a flu, along with sore throat, which went away and then returned after I kept eating my beloved chicken chop *winks*, and the final brownie the night before was the final straw and I woke up with a sore throat yesterday.
Began coughing yesterday and this morning to my horror I almost could not speak! Hah, can reach those low notes of "Flavor of Life" easily. :P
And all that mucus... Yuck. Where did they come from? Is there no end to this stuff? Goodness... I've used up nearly half a box of tissue...

Time to complete that arggghhhhh inorg lab report. xx

the most horrible lab report writing experience ever
CM2111 Experiment 2. Tinghui and I spent the entire friday afternoon in the library, and when we finally left the library at 9 plus, we had only managed to write the introduction and procedures. It’s just so tough. I mean, I don’t think the lectures prepare us enough to write the report. And I can’t find comprehensible info from the books. How do you know if it’s a strong field or weak field ligand, what causes distortion from octahedral, does the bond length matter, and if I were to discuss the electronic spectra do I have to identify the transitions? I think so, but I can’t make any sense of the term symbols?
I’m currently trying to borrow the report from a friend who took this module last semester. Actually I only asked her to tell me the crystal field, but she had offered to send me her report.I had asked her on Friday night, and she’d said she’d send it later, which she didn’t. And then come Saturday she still didn’t send it, so I asked her about it. Turned out that she’d gone out ans she said she’d send it when she got home. It was Valentines’ and I didn’t want to bother her too much though I must admit I was pissed already. At midnight I figured surely she must have reached home and messaged her. She said she just got home and was really tired and would send me tomorrow.
Now I guess it’s just really obvious this person is just stuffing me with excuses. I mean, hello… how hard is it to just attach a word document and email it? And it’s not even like I asked for it; she had offered it. If I’m not so desperate I wouldn’t have bothered to contact her at all. It’s noon now and I still haven’t received her mail and heck I may just crapped my report through…

《鬼马狂想曲》
那天星期六看这部戏，看到凌晨3点，隔天还去 bukit timah,累死。张柏芝饰演编号7654321哈米波波（好可爱的名字^_^），来自魔法学校。连校服都极像Hogwarts的！
她的表哥是个绒毛玩具的垃圾虫。哈米波波说表哥本来长得很帅，可是后来中了咒语，变成垃圾虫。表哥帅得女朋友都觉得没有安全感。原来她就是女朋友。有一幕让我很有感触。杰（古天乐）与波波渐生情愫，表哥要求与杰谈谈。波波求他无论如何都不能把杰吃掉，haha... Anyway 杰一番内心剖白后，请求垃圾虫成全两人。
波波告诉垃圾虫，对现在的她来说，表哥太帅了。
垃圾虫望着波波紧握着杰的手，走向窗口抽了一口烟(looking very troubled and gloomy)。我本来以为他会像以往的吐/大便at杰，但并没有。
他只是走向门，拿出一张照片。（竟然是刘德华！！！）
伤心得流泪，然后离去。
这时波波也已经泣不成声了。
好难过。。。

Why do people feed pigeons?
Aren't they supposed to eat worms or something? Why feed them bread?
It's just soooooooooo irritating. Saw 2 incidents of feeding today. Super pissed.
According to the AVA,
Prohibition on feeding
10. No person shall feed stray pigeons in any premises or public place.
Offences
17. Any person who contravenes or fails to comply with rule 6 (3), 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 or 13 (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $500.
