truth

Sometimes I feel compelled to tell the truth. Even though I know I can get away with lies.

I went to Bugis with Xiao Wei and Bao Yun last Wed. Hui Ling had asked me to accompany her to the i dunno,barber/hairstylist/salon/saloon???..aiya whatever. I declined because I was feeling very tired. Very happy that I can rot at home the next day I went to bathe.

Sigh alas! When I got out I got a phone call. (I raced to the phone and grabbed it before the ringing woke my mom up. It was 12 something you know..I'm sneaking around trying to watch TV.) It was Xiao Wei and since I think we'd talked about this before so I agreed.

The thing IS, I was planning not to let Hui Ling know that I'd gone out on Wed, cos it seems a little bad that I turned her down then go out with someone else.

But when she asked me about my new bag which i'd bought on that trip I told her the truth. She seemed pretty pissed, but she's smiling as she scolded me so i dunno if she's real mad or what.

Sigh. So should I have told the truth? Look where it'd got me.
