before sunrise | before sunset

i read an article on Paris in i-weekly recently that mentioned a movie called "Before Sunrise" filmed in 1995. i've never heard of it before, so i went online and read up on it. i found a script of the movie:

anyway, it was a beautiful love story. hopelessly romantic, especially if you believe in love at first sight, in destiny, and that there is a Right One somewhere out there.

i mean, can you imagine, meeting someone on a train in a foreign country, spending the night just talking and then having just a wonderful time together? although they spent only a night together, it was quality time. we may spent years with people but how much of it is spent understanding each other?

Jesse and Celine met each other nine years later (and the second film "Before Sunset" was released NINE years later, in 2004!!!) and though both of them had partners they weren't happy. Not the right person, i suppose. so in the end although there wasn't a very clear ending i think they got together in the end. yeah. i love happy endings. =)
