Attended my cousin's wedding yesterday (since it's past midnight now; I ought to be sleeping soon). Hmm I've attended other wedding dinners before, but this is the first one of someone I was close to (or used to be close to when I was a kid). So yes, it does feel kind of different. My cousin made a speech on the stage, it was kind of too mushy for me, but I can feel that he really loves his wife sincerely. He is a good person and I wish them both everlasting happiness. :)
On a sidenote, there's something about weddings that makes you want to fall in love and get married too. Maybe it's the atmosphere of love and happiness rubbing off. Maybe there's a tiny part in every one that wishes for a fairytale ending.

ReplyDeleteHeh. Nods... I felt the same when I attended my friend's ROM, and Yuan Ping's wedding. Haa... But then, after a while reality of marriage life (TV... newspapers... books...) hit me and I carried on with my happy go lucky life =P
