Beneath the starry skies

YS and I went to visit YW's hall. It was really last minute, he called me at like 5.30 and I rushed my dinner like mad.

And traffic lights are always red whenever you're in a rush. Damn.

YW's room is indeed as homey as he'd described. Mats and a stool and a small coffee table and mini fridge. Nice. =)

He wanted to let us try the famous waffle, but unfortunately it was already closed by the time we got there.

We went to the School of something design, that glassy place with a huge patch of grass at the top. What a nice place! I could see a lot of sky, a lot of clouds, some stars and a very bright moon.

It was breezy and cool. So we talked under the starry and cloudy sky. It was really nice. So tranquil.

Centaurus

I think the group of stars that I always see from my room window is actually from the Centaurus constellation and not Pegasus like I'd been suspecting.

I have such affinity with Centaur=)

At the airport

Sigh. I've never sent people off, didn't know what to expect.

Didn't sleep, was really tired. By the time we got to the airport, XW was checking in.

I didn't say anything to her. I should have, really, instead of crying in front of so many people. But I couldn't help it. It's like, this sudden urge to cry. I wasn't even thinking of sad songs or the times we'd had together.

And then she's gone. I wish her all the best. She's so brave.

Don't ever want to go through this again.

Weekend's finally here...

Made it through first week of school.

The system is really different, not at all like JC. Lectures are short and packed with info that just doesn't go in. I think after 9months I've totally lost my listen-to-lessons abilities.

So stressed, so many problems to take care of. CCA, textbook (which to buy, new or second hand..??), printing notes, lecture, ballot tutorial..

Argh.

National Day!!!

Wow it's national day tmr. Hmmz..stuck here in hall, with no tv and no decorations and no flag and no blasting of ndp songs..there's no atmosphere at all. Sigh what do u expect, there're so many foreign students here, can't possibly ask them to celebrate Singapore's nat day.

Orientation's over. Yesterday was FLAG day. Phew, what a super tiring day. All of us were supposed to fill two tins each, which is seriuosly impossible for me. I mean, looking at my past records.. But I really did push myself (motivated by Michelle) and managed to complete one tin! *Cheers*

This Sat is RAG..haven't been helping out, but I'm looking forward to watching it. Need tickets eh..dunno how. Dunno if I'm going with Sci Fac or going with hall.

And as if all these are not messy enough, there's an outing this Sat. To celebrate yw's birthday and xw's farewell. Sigh. What to do. Why choose this Sat? None of them are (or is?) from NUS so they aren't going for RAG. Sigh, see how it goes.
